Symptoms of Mesothelioma

Asbestos exposure at work is linked to about 70 percent to 80 percent
of all cause of mesothelioma lung cancer.

Working with asbestos and inhaling or swallowing asbestos particles is the main cause of mesothelioma and a noncancerous, chronic lung condition called asbestosis.

There are no early symptoms of mesothelioma cancer.
Symptoms of mesothelioma may not appear until 12 to 50 years after exposure to asbestos.
